hand-made sculptures and artifacts, the Zafimaniry culture whose knowledge was established as a material heritage of humanity in 2003 by UNESCO, the national Park of Isalo and its flora and fauna that reigns supreme.

To the south, you will be able to admire in the village of Mahafaly, how the tombs are real mausoleums decorated with numerous wood carvings or ALOALO.

Tips
  • Transport and facilities in Madagascar are not necessarily of the standard usually found in developed countries.
  • The local boats used in this excursion are generally quite small, so there is a risk that participants will get wet.
  • To participate in this excursion you must be able to swim.
  • As such, we do not recommend this excursion to guests who have back problems or who are otherwise not at peak fitness.
  • Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed, since they depend on the behavior of the animals themselves or according to weather and sea conditions.
  • The color of the water and the visibility may vary depending on the weather.

  • Do not forget to bring your swimsuit, towels, sunglasses, sun cream, insect repellent for walks inside or adjacent to the forest/parks, your camera, and a long-sleeved, cotton top during the bath/snorkeling/trekking.
  • Toilets will be of local standards.
  • The excursion may be subject to variations in timing according to weather and sea conditions. Remember that the coral reef and everything that lives in it are really delicate, the PH of our skin is more acidic than the carapace of turtles, fish skin and corals, so if we touch them we risk contaminating them and causing them to die. All of us, guests of the Ocean, help us to introduce the next generation to the magical life of the coral reef.
