The immense city of Toamasina (Tamatave) with its large market called Bazar Be, where food is available, but it is also a set of different diversified activities including craftsmanship, precious stones, clothing, souvenirs, spices and much more still.

Fascinating rainforests despite deforestation, hence the interest of protected areas such as that of Analamazoatra visible from Andasibe.
At the lively crossroads village of Antsampanana, we will turn towards the coast.
Crossing large expanses of Niaouli plantations, if the timing permits, we will visit an artisanal niaouli essential oil distillery. This region is also famous for its lobsters and “Camarons” (giant shrimp).

Day cruise on the Canal des Pangalanes to Akanin’ny nofy, stopover in Ambila, quiet and verdant, Ambila Lemaintso is a small village on the east coast of Madagascar overlooking the Indian Ocean.

Ascent of the Canal in Tamatave and discovery of the bush taxi boats.
Disembarkation and continuation to Mahambo 90 km from Tamatave along the road of the “cloves”. Recommended stop in Foulpointe, a very popular seaside resort where it is possible to have lunch and visit the forest reserve of Analalava, one of the tourist attractions of the city.

North of Tamatave, Mahambo is a well representative village of Betsimisaraka country with its huts with roofs made of dried ravinala leaves, hidden at the bottom of a bay bordered by dense forests and enclosed by a very pretty lagoon.
Here the stay has always been divided between swimming, snorkeling around the coral reef, canoe trips with fishermen, walks in the woods.
