After the meeting with our guide we will dry the hotel in a mini-van, and we will leave to discover the big island.
Our first destination is Lemurialand, a park introduced on the island in the early 2000s, which is home to several species of Lemurs and other reptiles, amphibians, typical endemic plants.
Close to one of the largest ylang ylang plantations on the island. This tree, native to the Philippines and introduced to Nosy Be by the French at the end of the 19th century, has a delicate aroma flower, the distillation of which produces a series of high quality essential oils whose uses include the creation of prestigious perfumes.
After our guided tour of the plantation, we will enter one of the oldest ylang-ylang distilleries to discover the secrets of this production technique. Before leaving we will have time to do some shopping at the plantation shop.
On the way we will stop at a panoramic point from where we can admire a magnificent view of the bay. After taking some photos, we will continue our journey.
We then continue to the sacred forest of Bemazava, a sacred place where we will visit the sacred tree. We will then move to Hell Ville, the largest city on the island, to visit the local spice, fish and tropical fruit market. there are many possibilities to buy souvenirs, products of local artisans, wood carvings and lively tablecloths characterized by the traditional embroidery typical of Madagascar.
After the shopping we will continue to the seafront and the Court de Hell, to finish with a visit to the monument dedicated to the Russians and the fantastic view of the port of Nosy Be before to entry in direction of your hotel.
